Wuji Studio is no longer maintained as of 2026-09-22, and v2026.9.22 is the final release. Studio no longer receives feature updates or device support. Use Wuji CLI or Wuji SDK for device discovery, visualization, calibration, and firmware upgrades. Migration requires Wuji CLI v2026.9.22 or later. See Getting Started for installation and updates.

Migrate Your Data

  • Export your data from Studio first. In the desktop version of Studio, switch to the named profile you want to migrate (not Default). Open the user avatar menu → User data → Export Data…, and save the ZIP file.
  • Move the ZIP to the computer running the CLI. Copy the exported file when switching computers, or use the existing file on the same computer. If the CLI is not installed, follow the installation instructions.
  • Preview and import in the CLI.
wuji user import <ZIP_PATH> --as <NEW_USERNAME>
Replace the placeholders with the actual file path and an unused username. The command shows a preview before asking you to confirm the import into the new profile.
  • Check the imported data. Run wuji user show to inspect the user and calibration data. For skipped or missing items, follow Users and Calibration Data.
For details, see Studio data export and CLI data import. For recordings, see Recording Files.

Feature Mapping

The CLI also provides wuji doctor to check the host environment, device connections, and supported device faults. See Health Diagnostics.

Installed Studio

An installed Wuji Studio still opens, and its existing features keep working. Studio no longer receives updates. User profiles and calibration data remain exportable through Migrate Your Data for import into the CLI.

Recording Files

MCAP recordings are not included in the user-data ZIP. Studio saves recordings to Documents/WujiStudio/recordings/ by default, or to the folder set in the Studio settings. To keep them, copy them from that folder separately. See Studio data recording for details. The CLI doesn’t provide data recording.
